The girls' class hosted a Mother's Day Tea on Friday. They presented me with many hand-made gifts and we moms were treated to a poem reading by the class. The poem was written by their teacher, Mrs. Moss.
I worked in NKY yesterday, which gave Matt & the kids lots of time to get various Mother's Day projects completed.
Matt made me a cake and he and the kids presented me with my present when I got home-a porch swing, just what I wanted!
In the originals plans for our deck, our builder had included a porch swing, but those plans got scraped for cost effectiveness. I told Matt that day (end of Dec) that all I wanted for Mother's Day was a swing. He remembered! Unfortunately, it has rained steady since last night so I haven't been able to enjoy it yet.

Love the pictures. I know I say this over and over but your children are so beautiful. SOunds like a wonderful mothers day. Love the porch swing. I'll have to remember that poem for things to do with my kids at church and at work.
