Embassy Day

Today (Tuesday) is our appointment at the embassy, and we will be leaving for that in a few hours. Yesterday was our first full day with the girls, and it was an adventure. They are more hyperactive than we would ever have imagined after seeing them all shy and cowering in the pictures. Chloe likes to sing, and Essie laughs at everything. Nap time and bed time are not real fun, and usually involve about a half-hour of crying and moaning. Yesterday we had to take Chloe to the clinic to have some more blood tests at the request of the embassy. They came back negative for whatever it was they were checking on. Chloe was very brave while having blood drawn and didn't cry a bit. The girls are mostly loud and bouncy, but when we are out in public they get pretty nervous and clingy. We are battling lots of fun stomach issues - they can't get enough to eat, but then their stomachs are upset. Luckily they are potty trained, because we are making many trips to the little girls' room. By last night they were starting to answer to Chloe & Essie instead of just their nicknames JuJu and Jurie. We'll try to post more as we get the chance. Thanks for all the continued prayers! We can't wait to head for home Thursday night. (Actually, a bit nervous about the heading home - can't wait to arrive home on Friday.)
