AJ - Three Years Home

Today is AJ's third anniversary of the day he arrived in Kentucky.  Three years ago today he was getting off the plane, not speaking a word of English; today he started the 4th Grade.  He is still a soccer phenom, loves Kentucky basketball and football, and enjoys watching movies and listening to Dad read stories.  He is very talented with his hands and quite good at building and fixing all kinds of things.  In the last year he has had an unbelievable growth spurt - we can hardly keep him in clothes!

Here is our little guy getting off the plane in Kentucky and meeting Mom for the first time. Just to give you an idea of how much he has grown, Amy is 5' 7".  Today, AJ measured in at 5' 3.5"

It's hard to believe how tiny he was in that first week home.

Just to give you an idea how much AJ has grown this year - take a look at this picture from one year ago at Gettysburg.
