They Finally Did It

Woke up to a nice surprise...5 duck eggs all laid in the duck house and 3 of them actually made it in the laying box. They are also good sized.

Last week, I only found a few eggs and couldn't figure out what was going on until a further inspection in the enclosure in the garden found this, buried in a nest.
The ducks had laid them (on more than 1 day) and then covered them up with leaves and twigs. They covered them so well, I missed seeing them twice. So now the ducks get penned up each night and I added extra hay to their nest box to quench their nesting urges.

I also got a few Serrano peppers today

and a few last week, along with a banana pepper
