On our way home from visiting family in northern Indiana, we stopped at the Newfields Museum in Indianapolis to see their immersive Van Gogh exhibit
A Remington
Essie and a random creepy kid
Crocuses, by William Forsyth
Chloe & George Washington
Some African art
Carved elephant tusk
Some Ethiopian art
Chinese horse statuette
The Van Gogh exhibit was an immersive video show that projected animations of Van Gogh's work on all the walls and floors of a warehouse-like space.
The lone real Van Gogh painting in the exhibit - "Sheaves of Wheat", painted in 1890 in Auvers-sur-Oise. It was so cool to be able to see the actual texture of the paint.
