Spring Break Hiking

We did NOT have very good weather for Spring Break this year - freezing temps and even some snow.  But on the Saturday before Easter the weather was nice enough that we were able to get away to Red River Gorge for some light hiking.

A log across the trail must be climbed.

Dad posed his 6'5" frame under the log to provide some scale.

Dad and AJ help Chloe down.

This log provided an additional challenge for AJ - one misstep and you're in the drink.

Will he make it?

A hiking trip is successful if there are some good big rocks to climb.
