The kids are on Spring Break this week, so we decided to spend a couple of days enjoying Kentucky's beautiful scenery. The kids love to go hiking, especially when they can climb around on rocks. Winter has been holding out longer than usual, but the weather wasn't too bad for our trip.
Our first stop: Pine Mountain State Resort Park in Pineville, Kentucky

On the Azalea Trail, there is a little ampitheater. (The stage is across the pond there.) The kids are watching mud puppies in the water.
