A Weekend of Work

We had a busy weekend of work on the new house - both of us took Friday off from work. Both sets of parents came to help - and they were a BIG help. We got the kitchen and 3/4 of the living room painted (see pictures below). Amy's dad got a lot of little handyman tasks done. We're on our way, but there's much more to be done!

It's Our Mess Now!

Sorry for the lack of posts, but it has been very busy. We closed on our house yesterday! We are very excited, and the cleaning has already begun. Here are some pictures:
