We knew as soon as we began moving ahead with adopting two older children that our little two-room apartment would not be enough space. It has been a great home for us, but we just needed more room. So we started thinking about what we could afford and look at what was available. We weren't looking to buy a house right away, but we came across a foreclosure that seemed to be less expensive than anything of a similar size we have seen.
Well, we did it. We took the plunge. We have signed a contract on a house. (Yikes!) It is located on a cul-de-sac off of Butler Dr. in Wilmore. As you can see, it is a brick ranch with a finished basement. It has three bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, and living room upstairs and a bedroom, bathroom, living room, laundry room, and office downstairs. The house is in good condition, but it has some very interesting color choices throughout that will need some immediate attention. And a LOT of cleaning.
The move isn't going to be far...it's just on the other side of Wilmore from where we are living right now. We are scheduled to close on March 17th, and then we will probably take our time cleaning and painting before moving in. We are very excited to own our first house, and we look forward to bringing our kids home.

We are the Champions...
In case you were a hermit last night, my NY Giant won the Superbowl last night. It was one of the best Superbowls in the last few years, of course, that is because my Giants won in the end. I'm too tired to write about much else because I couldn't go to sleep last night after our big win, but I couldn't let the day end without rubbing it in to all those Patriots fans out there.
GO GIANTS!!!!
GO GIANTS!!!!
